Size up for layering and comfort. Unlike a catsuit, a jacket needs "ease" for your shoulders and arms to move. If you plan to wear it over a shirt or another latex layer, ordering one size up prevents the buttons from popping and ensures the material doesn't overstretch and lose its structured silhouette.

Store it on heavy-duty padded hangers. Thick latex ($0.8mm+$) can develop permanent creases if folded or hung on thin wire hangers. Use wide-shouldered hangers to maintain the shape. After wearing, always hang it up straight; if creases appear, a warm (not hot) environment and some silicone oil can help the material relax back into shape.

Hand wash in a large tub with pH-neutral soap. Do not use a washing machine. Because of the weight and surface area, ensure you rinse it thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Dry it by patting with a lint-free towel and then hang it on a strong hanger in the shade. Never dry it in direct sunlight, as it will cause the rubber to rot.

Lubricate and isolate. Apply a tiny amount of silicone-based zipper lube to heavy zippers to keep them smooth. Most importantly, wrap metal buckles and buttons in plastic film or acid-free tissue paper during storage. This prevents "bronzing"—the chemical reaction that leaves permanent brown stains on the latex.
