FAQs

How do I prevent the red medical crosses or dark trims from staining the white latex?

Color migration is a high risk. Darker pigments (especially red and black) can bleed into white latex. Never store the outfit folded where different colors touch. Use plenty of talcum powder for storage, or ideally, hang it in an opaque bag with acid-free tissue paper separating the colorful trims from the white base.

Why does my white nurse outfit look yellowish, and can I fix it?

Latex aging and UV exposure cause yellowing. White latex is very sensitive to sunlight and oils. To prevent this, store it in total darkness and wash body oils off immediately after wear. Once white latex turns yellow due to UV damage or "bronzing" (metal contact), it is permanent and cannot be bleached back to white.

Is white latex transparent? What should I wear underneath?

Standard white latex (0.4mm) can be slightly translucent. When stretched or polished, it may reveal skin tones or dark underwear. For a crisp look, wear nude-colored latex lingerie underneath. Avoid cotton underwear, as the texture will show through and the fabric will absorb sweat, becoming heavy and visible under the rubber.

How do I care for nurse accessories like caps, belts, and capes?

Maintain shape and keep hardware isolated. Latex nurse caps often have wire or stiffening; don't crush them. For capes and belts with metal snaps or buckles, wrap the metal in plastic film during storage to avoid "bronzing" stains on the white latex. Hand wash all items with pH-neutral soap and dry them flat to prevent stretching.
